AC Shadows Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving

In a bizarre crossover event that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of banned ceremonies and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden sect.

The questline centers on "bizarre trials and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an exclusive katana in addition to multiple items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
